Warrigal Greens (New Zealand Spinach)

I’ve grown this for years and I love it.  An easy growing perennial vegetable.  Can be grown from seed or cuttings.  Can tolerate light frosts.  Sow full sun or part shade.  I hand pick all of these seeds.  Nil nasties used, nil pesticides or chemicals.  Sow 1-2 cm deep, 25 cm apart, full or part sun, all year.

Description

Also known as New Zealand Spinach.  Hand raised seeds by me.  Grown similar to a succulent, strikes easily from cuttings.  No GMO, hand packaged and grown here.  30 seeds per pack.  A beautiful alternative to spianch, however must be coked and not eaten raw.  Once cooked, has a flavour and texture just like spinach, including it’s vibrant green colour.  I love this and it’s a must have in my garden.
