5 x bulbs per pack. Grown here, these walking onions create an onion bulb similar to a shallot. Once they are ready, instaed of creating a flower head, which usually turns to seed, like most onion varities do, they grow their own new onion plant on top. These become heavy over time, resulting on them falling to the ground due to the weight of the bulbs. These wonderful plants settle themselves in and begin to grow, like they have grown up, produced bulbs, fallen down and ‘walked’. Plant in Summer, full sun.
